The PDC -Permaculture Design Certificate- is the standard recognized internationally to join the Permaculture Network.
With it, you will be able to attend Permaculture convergences, use the word “Permaculture” freely, etc.

By the end of this course you will have an understanding of the basics of Permaculture design
(ethics, directives, principles, design frameworks and basic scientific models)
and how to apply them in real life and develop your own design projects.

As you progress through the modules, you will gain and hone valuable skills, such as:
  • studying skillfully and effectively, so you can learn anything you need to know
  • understanding how the mind works, and how to refine yours and others’
  • applying design frameworks effectively for any kind of project
  • developing long-term design projects through time, and facing the challenges of doing so in real life
  • grasping the basic science of how the soil and ecosystems work
  • knowing how to intervene to restore balance and accelerate natural successions in ecosystems
  • understanding the basic science of energy and materials, and applying it to manage resources
  • discerning what kinds of building materials and techniques are most appropriate in each circumstance
And remember that this learning community is always available for you: we are all very happy to follow your process
and support you in your learning and applying it to real-life designs that matter to you.
However, also note that our duty with you is to provide you these materials and platforms for discussion for up to 6 months,
so remember to make good use of the available time, and happy learning!
